We invite you to consider an independent, bareboat sailing long-term charter on board of a well equipped, new and well managed sailing boat such as Oceanis 46.1 in the Balearics. Available from as little as 2,000 Eur per week, you can also hire this monohull on a 3-4 weeks one way crossing between Islands of IBIZA within the Balearics and Tenerife in the Canaries.

Long-term charters around islands such as historic Ibiza, metropolitan Mallorca, peaceful Menorca and secluded Formentera or private island Tagomago are the dream of many a sailing family. During a typical one week or two weeks charter, you are likley to be bound to one of these islands as sailing distances are such that you can really only visit only one or at times two of them. By picking up this Oceanis 46.1 in Ibiza, during a single week charter you can mostly visit Southern shores, those such as Cala Comte, Salinas, Es Cavallet, Cala Tarida, Eivissa and San Antonio for example. By extending this two a two week charter, circumnavigation of the island becomes possible or you can explore all of the small, but very nice and picturesque island of Formentera. Locations such as Es Pujols where you can enjoy finest crystal clear waters in the area and lots of sandy beaches will tempt you to stay longer as the feeling of relaxation is likley to be overwhelming. An even stronger feeling of total independence can be achieved on the 3 mile long sandy strech of Migjorn beach where you can get to before making a stopover at Es Calo de Sant Agusti fishing town. Es Calo is one of the most prestigious parts of the island and a good place for a fine meal.

After enjoying all day snorkelling, swimming and maybe some watersports such as jet skiing at Migjorn Beach, you would not want to miss a stopover at Saona. The Cala Saona is a good stopover to allow continuous circumnavigation of Island of Formentera and to escape from busy beaches or bigger towns. Finally, Playa d'en Bossa near the home port can be your last anchorage on Ibiza, after you would have made an overnight stopover at La Savina on the Northern tip of Formentera. This can be a general 7-day charter itinerary that covers Ibiza and Formentera. To get to explore Northern parts of Ibiza, you would need at least 2 weeks charter. To extend this to Mallorca and even Mallorca, we would only recommend at least 4 and ideally 6-8 weeks. WIth Oceanis 46.1 you can enjoy as long as 6 months charters in the area however as that would allow you extensive exploration of the Balearics islands coastline and to expeirence living on the water.

The same boat can also go one way every October towards island of Tenerife and from only around 5,500 Eur for a 3 week crossing. In April, the boat comes back the other way at the same rates. During such a crossing, you can build your miles or make stopovers in such extraoridinary locations as Puerto Banus, Puerto Sotogrande, Gibraltar or Portugal's unique Algarve coast. In case Oceanis 46.1 is not the right choice of a boat, we can also offer others, with 5 cabins or those with 2 or 3 cabins as well as sailing catamarans. Long Term charers are readily available in all other locations in the Mediterranean, including cross-country sailing and one way such as those from France - Turkey, Greece to Spain or Croatia - Italy for example.
